With the opening of Germany’s Michael Essien Motor Show, Audi has officially released the new GT3 car group R8 LMS. The car equipped with racing specifications, naturally aspirated V10 engine that can deliver maximum horsepower 500ps; six-speed Sequential sequential gearbox, MR-driven layout. Christian Abt, Frank Biela, Frank Stippler three experienced riders involved in the R8 LMS development work, Audi R8 LMS with eight teams will participate in the 2009 European GT series and the Nuerburgring 24-hour endurance race. Audi R8 LMS sells for 260,000 euros.

As the FIA GT3 category of the race cases does not allow the use of four-wheel drive system, the R8 GT3 racing into uses MR-driven layout; six-speed Sequential Transmission for the sequential gearbox, body movement in response to the requirements of the empty car, then a substantial modification and power configuration to full racing specification set, the power output of more than 500bhp.
