Leaf Nissan electric vehicle prices in Japan announced
Nissan on March 30 announced the world’s first electric vehicle Leaf will be 3.76 million yen (about 40,600 U.S. dollars) the price of domestic sales in Japan. Leaf models scheduled to work will be officially launched on April 1st. By then, U.S. and European markets will be announced the sales price.

The company claims that Nissan Leaf driving only electric power, in the six-year period of use, the power costs about 86,000 yen (about 900 U.S. dollars). In contrast, the same life of the car petrol cost 67 million yen (about 7200 U.S. dollars). It is reported that in Japan, if the electric car government grant policy also continue to be valid, then the price of this car will be reduced to 299 million yen.
